A Benefit Class for Living Yoga
with Tony Roberts
Friday, May 6
Tony Roberts, will be leading a benefit class on Friday, May 6th for Living Yoga as part of their 2016 Yogathon efforts, which raises funds to enable Living Yoga to fulfill its mission of providing yoga to marginalized communities. They currently provide over 30 classes a week in more than 20 institutions such as local prisons, detention centers, treatment centers and shelters for the victims of sexual trafficking and spousal violence. Tony is a volunteer instructor for Living Yoga and an ambassador for the 2016 Yogathon, he is also the 2015 Living Yoga volunteer of the year.
This 90-minute benefit class with be a candlelight Calm Flow class which will prepare you for a delicious IRest (integrative Restoration) Yoga Nidra, a guided meditation, in which Tony will invite you to experience a deep state of ease and well-being in your body, mind, and spirit. All levels welcome!

Spring Workshop: transitions and Transformations

Spring is here! This two-hour workshop will focus on awareness during transitions and the fire of transformation. Expect a breath-centric practice including mindful and accessible sun salutations with special attention to the breath and safe transitions to keep you stable and centered in the midst of change, plus twists and backbends to melt the winter ice and awaken the fire of transformation. Expect asana (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises) and meditation. All levels welcome!
Easter Live Music Flow
with Courtney Moss and Joel Miller

Join us in celebrating Easter and welcoming Spring with a flow designed to help pacify kapha dosha! Expect a rooted class with lots of twisting and balancing. In this vinyasa flow class, we will mindfully move our bodies with the pace of our breath. Experiment with strength, balance and flexibility to inspire increased levels of freedom in your mind and body. Modifications and more advanced options are offered throughout the class. Some previous Yoga experience is suggested.
Joel Miller will provide thoughtful, mindful and relaxing soundscapes on acoustic guitar during the class.

Sunday, March 20 is Spring Equinox, marking the first day of Spring. This is one of the two days of the year when day and night are equal in length. We are shifting out of the dark and into the light. So, join us for our Calm class with Kristina as we turn our focus to the balance of light and dark, sun and moon, inner and outer, yin and yang and begin to embrace these exciting feelings of potential and possibility. This class will be gentle and expansive as we move through poses designed to open the body, the mind, and the heart as we enter into this season of rebirth.
The class will be from 5:00-6:00 and include Calm yoga and a short meditation. *BONUS* Josh will be playing guitar during the class, Kristina will bring a new essential oil spray and bake her delicious cookies for you to enjoy after class.
Winter Solstice Calm Class

The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day of the year, the start of winter and the return of the sun. Celebrate with this special Calm class. Slow things down with calming restorative postures. Focus on darkness, stillness and setting your intention for the holiday season and return of the light. Enjoy this Winter Solstice practice as you take the time to pause… and create a quiet space to welcome the sun back into your life. After class enjoy some tea and treats with other fellow yogis. The perfect way to welcome winter! All levels welcome.

Summer Solstice Meditation

Use the bright light during the longest day of the year, and connect to your inner light – the essence of your Being -, in this Meditation. Expect a short breath centered asana practice (postures) and a short Pranayama practice (breathing exercises), followed by a guided Meditation using visualization and mantra (voice), and a silent Meditation. Chairs and props are available for a comfortable sitting.
