“Where are my keys?” Sharpen your attention & improve your memory with Yoga for Brain Health Series

If you want to remember more often “where you left your keys”, join us and learn yoga adaptations that can help you sharpen your field of attention and improve your brain performance. A total of four 90 minute sessions will include short presentations, movement adaptations (Asana), breath and voice in coordination with movement, specific breathing exercises (Pranayama) and the first stages of Meditation. Come to one, two, three or four sessions, practice these fun exercises, and receive a short and efficient practice that you can do consistently at home at the completion of the series. All levels welcome. The complete course will count as 6 Continuing Education Hours recognized by the Yoga Alliance.
Saturdays June 17 & 24, July 8 & 15, 12:00 to 1:30 pm, attend 1 or all 4.

Celebrate Mother’s Day with a special 90-minute yoga practice that will help to:, Increase the power of your vitality, Regulate the nervous system and reduce stress, Restore your system. During this hour and a half special class you can expect 60 minutes of mindful breath-centric Asana, Pranayama (breathing exercises), Meditation and Guided relaxation, visualization, and rest.
Open Hips & Shoulders, Happy Neck & Back

Start off the new year by treating yourself RIGHT!
This workshop will focus on stabilizing, strengthening and increasing the range of motion in the hips and shoulders while relieving tension in the low back and neck. We’ll start with some gentle movement to warm up and setting a positive intention for mind and body. We’ll move into some gentle exercises to strengthen the muscles for a healthier range of motion and joint stability. You’ll then experiment with a few big poses to challenge mind and body, options will be given for all levels. And we will end with some wonderful deep stretches that will encourage the body to open to a fuller range of motion. At the conclusion of class, we’ll have a brief Q & A session to help you deepen your understanding of the body, the benefits of the asanas and to encourage a healthy home practice! All levels welcome.

Join us on Thanksgiving Day for this Gratitude Flow class. Bring awareness to all the aspects in your life for which you are grateful and focus on opening your heart to further cultivate the feeling of gratitude as you head into the holiday season. Taste, Tunes, Tranquility
Come to Vino Vinyasa with Kristina for a truly multi-sensory experience! We will begin with a vinyasa flow yoga class, mindfully moving the body in sync with the breath. We will play with balance, strength, and flexibility to begin the process of awakening all five senses. Kristina will bring her Essential Oils to pique your sense of smell. Josh (Kristina’s oh-so-talented husband) will provide live music to guide you into the rhythm of sound. After the one-hour class, with awakened senses, it’s time to tantalize the taste buds with wine and chocolate tasting. Mingle with fellow yogis from our community while enjoying lite snacks, wine and chocolate. Must be 21 years old or older to taste the wine.

5-week series Sept 25 to Oct 23
This 5-week series will offer mamas-to-be a supportive and peaceful environment to practice yoga, connect with other mamas, and to prepare for childbirth. We will touch on breathing, meditation, alignment, pelvic floor strength, postpartum exercises, Ayurveda for pregnancy, and more. This is a wonderful way to deepen awareness in your body, share and discuss with other mamas, and to connect with your baby. No prior yoga experience necessary!
$85 for the 5-week series or $20 drop in
Courtney Moss is a certified Yoga Teacher and Ayurvedic Health Educator. She took her prenatal yoga teacher training at The Bhaktishop in Portland, Oregon under the guidance of Shana Celnicker-Chong. As well, in working towards her Ayurvedic Health Practitioner certification, she has done much research on fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care. She believes the combination of Ayurveda & yoga makes for a nourished, supported, and empowered pregnancy.
